This month we welcome Lauren Tenney. In 2006, I started making some major shifts. I stopped saying, “But it’s THEIR fault, they hurt me,” and I started asking myself, “What am I bringing to the table that is allowing me to be hurt continuously?” That question hurled me straight into the warm waters of personal development. Books, therapy, and an unwavering belief that life can be wonderful and worth living have all contributed to the Lauren you are meeting here today. I believe working on our own personal development is how we change the world. It’s how we take ownership of our lives and find our way back to joy and peace, which is ultimately the way God designed us to live. He has given us all the power and all the tools we need -- now it's our job to be intentional about doing the work. When it comes to my people, I love being married to my husband Spencer (or Spencee), a mom to Hudson, Georgia June, Olive, and furry Franklin.
